Let \(H\) be a separable Hilbert space and \(\Sigma (t)\) a non-decreasing strongly left continuous operator-valued function from \(\mathbb{R}\) into \(B(H)\). Then \(\Sigma \) induces an operator-valued measure and the authors define a Hilbert space \(L_{2}(\Sigma ,H)\) with respect to \(\Sigma \) and state a theorem which gives an intrinsic description of the space. They also use this theorem to discuss questions of multiplicity and Hellinger types but there are no proofs of any of the results given in the paper.
