The author obtains a classification of all one-sided finite state stationary Markov chains up to block-isomorphism (i.e. topological and measure-theoretic equivalence). The result refines the topological classification of one-sided chains due to \textit{R. F. Williams} [Ann. Math., II. Ser. 98, 120-153 (1973; Zbl 0282.58008)]. Following \textit{W. Parry} and \textit{S. Tuncel} [Bull. Lond. Math. Soc. 14, No. 1, 16-27 (1982; Zbl 0481.28015)], who obtained a similar classification for two- sided chains, the author uses matrices whose entries are nonnegative integral combinations of exponential functions. A number of ideas of \textit{W. Parry} and \textit{R. F. William} [Proc. Lond. Math. Soc., III. Ser. 35, 483-495 (1977; Zbl 0383.94011)] are exploited in the proof of the main result.
