The paper deals with the stability results of a convolution equation for a certain classes of analytic functions. Let \(Q\) be a connected set which does not divide the plane and contains at least two points. Let \(a(z)=\sum_{k=0}^ \infty a_ k z^ k\) be an entire function of exponential type and \(L\) be a convolution operator with characteristic function \(a(z)\) such that \(L_ a(e^{\lambda z})=a(\lambda)e^{\lambda z}\), \(\lambda\in C[O]\). The paper addresses the issue of epimorphism of the operator \(L_ a\) for various particular cases of \(Q\). In particular, sufficient conditions for epimorphism of \(L_ a\) are obtained when \(Q\) is an arbitrary interval of the real axis. Also, with similar assumptions, necessary and sufficient conditions of epimorphism are obtained when the order of \(a(z)\) is less than or equal to 1.
