Let \(f:M\to\mathbb{R}^n\) be a continuous mapping into a Euclidean space of an \((n-1)\)-dimensional closed manifold oriented over a hereditary ring \(K\) (i.e., cohomologies \(H^{n-1}(M;K)\) of which are isomorphic to \(K\)). For a point \(y\in\mathbb{R}^n \smallsetminus f(M)\) let \(\deg(f,y)\in K=H^{n-1}(M;K)\) be the image of \(1\in K=H^{n-1} (\mathbb{R}^n\smallsetminus y;K)\) under a homomorphism \(f^*\) of cohomologies induced by the mapping \(f\). Let \(W\) be an open set in \(\mathbb{R}^n\) containing \(f(M)\), such that \(\deg(f,y)=0\) for all \(y\in \mathbb{R}^n\smallsetminus W\), and let \(S\subset W\smallsetminus f(M)\) be a set discrete in \(W\). For each \(h\in H^{n-1}(W\smallsetminus S;G)\) and arbitrary point \(s\in S\) let \(\text{tr} (h,s)\) be the image of \(h\) in \(H^{n-1} (B_s\smallsetminus s;G)=G\). Here \(B_s\) is a sufficiently small spherical neighbourhood of \(s\) and \(G\) is a fixed \(K\)-module of coefficients. Theorem 1. \(\deg(f,s)\neq 0\) only for a finite set of points \(s\in S\). For every \(h\in H^{n-1} (W\smallsetminus S;G)\) we have the relation \(f^*(h)= \sum_{s\in S}\deg(f,s)\cdot \text{tr} (h,s)\).
