Let \(\sum^\infty_{n=1} A_n(x)\) denote the Fourier series at a point \(x\) of \(f\in L_{2\pi}\) and let its conjugate series be denoted by \(\sum^\infty_{n=1} B_n(x)\). Write \(\phi(t)= {1\over 2}\{f(x+ t)+ f(x- t)-2s\}\) and \(\psi(t)= {1\over 2}\{f(x+ t)- f(x-t)\}\), where \(x\) is a real number and \(s\) is a function of \(x\). In this paper, the authors have studied absolute Euler summability of series associated with Fourier series and its conjugate series. We first state the following results which hold for \(0<c<1\) and \(0\leq\delta\leq 1\): Theorem 1. \(\sum A_n(x)(\log(n+ 1))^{-\delta}\in|E,q|\) \((q>0)\), whenever \(\phi(t)=\left(\log{2\pi\over t}\right)^{1-\delta} \in \text{BV}(0,c)\). Theorem 2. \(\sum B_n(x)(\log(n+ 1))^{-\delta}\in|E,q|\) \((q>0)\), whenever \(\psi(t)t^{-1}\left(\log {2\pi\over t}\right)^{-\delta}\in L(0,c)\) and \(\psi(t)\left(\log{2\pi\over t}\right)^{1-\delta}\in \text{BV}(0,c)\). The authors have also investigated some sufficient local conditions to ensure \(|E,q|\) \((q>0)\) summability of \(\sum A_n(x)/n^{{1\over 2}}\) and \(\sum A_n(x)/n^{{1\over 2}+\varepsilon}\) and have shown that the factor \(1/n^{{1\over 2}}\) is best possible in some sense. Lastly, generalizing some results on the first derived Fourier series and its conjugate series due to the present reviewer and \textit{G. D. Dikshit} [Ind. J. Pure Appl. Math. 12, 1350-1360 (1981; Zbl 0489.42013)], they have proved that the absolute Euler summability of the \(r\)th derived Fourier series and its conjugate series is a local property of its generating function. Remarks: The case \(\delta=0\) of Theorems 1 and 2 was already known to \textit{R. Mohanty} and \textit{S. Mohapatra} [J. Indian Math. Soc., n. Ser. 32, 131-139 (1968; Zbl 0193.03102)] as well as to \textit{B. Kwee} [J. Aust. Math. Soc. 13, 129-140 (1972; Zbl 0228.42001)] and the case \(\delta=1\) of Theorem 1 with \(c\) replaced by \(\pi\) was investigated by \textit{N. Tripathy} [Indian. J. Math. 16, 97-127 (1974; Zbl 0356.42010)], while the present reviewer [Indian J. Pure Appl. Math. 9, 1004-1008 (1978; Zbl 0398.42005)] independently obtained the case \(\delta=1\) of Theorems 1 and 2 with \(c\) replaced by \(\pi\).
