A submersion \(\pi\) between two almost contact metric manifolds \((M,\varphi,\xi,\eta,g)\) and \((M', \varphi', \xi', \eta', g')\) is said to be almost contact metric [e.g., \textit{B. Watson}, Collect. Pap. Mem. C. F. Gauss, 827-861 (1991; Zbl 0773.53015)] if it is Riemannian and satisfies the condition \(\varphi'\circ \pi_*= \pi_*\circ \varphi\). The authors study almost contact metric submersions with total space being a locally conformal cosymplectic manifold. They obtain some results on the minimality of the fibers, the transference of the almost contact metric structure to the base manifold, the induced structure on the fibers and the integrability of the horizontal distribution. It is described the local model of a locally conformal cosymplectic submersion with totally umbilical fibers. Moreover, the so-called \(D(\sigma)\)-conformal cosymplectic submersions are defined and their properties are studied.
