We explore the three-dimensional magnetic reconnection, where regimes of ``spine reconnection'' and ``fan reconnection'' have been discovered. Furthermore, a part of the coronal heating problem appears to have been solved with recent observational support for the converging flux model in which heating is produced by coronal reconnection driven by footpoint motions.
