According to Bôcher's theorem, a function \(u\), harmonic and positive in the unit ball \(U\backslash \{0\}\), may be written as follows: \(u(x)= v(x)+ aE(x)\), \(x\in U \backslash \{0\}\), where \(a\geq 0\) is constant, \(v\) is a harmonic function in \(U\) and \(E\) is the fundamental solution of the Laplace operator \(\Delta\), i.e. \[ E(x)= \begin{cases} -C_2 \log |x|, \quad & n=2,\\ C_n|x|^{2-n}, \quad & n>2 \end{cases} \] \textit{S. Y. Chung}, \textit{D. Kim} and \textit{J. R. Lee} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 188, No. 2, 341-345 (1994; Zbl 0818.31004)] and \textit{S. Axler}, \textit{P. Bourdon} and \textit{W. Ramey} [``Harmonic function theory'', Springer, New York (1992; Zbl 0765.31001)] generalized Bôcher's decomposition theorem renouncing at the condition \(u\geq 0\) and expressed the harmonic function as the sum of derivatives of \(E\) modulo a harmonic function in the whole plane. In this paper, the author characterizes a harmonic function \(u\) in \(\Omega \backslash K\), (where \(\Omega \subset\mathbb{R}^n\) is an open set, \(K=K' \times\{0\}\), \(K'\) is a compact subset of \(\mathbb{R}^{n'}\), \(\mathbb{R}^n = \mathbb{R}' \times \mathbb{R}^{n''})\) as follows: \[ u(x)= v(x)+ \sum_{\beta \in N_0^{n'}} f_\beta(x')* \partial^\beta_{x''} E(x',x''),\;x\in\Omega \backslash K, \] where \(v\) is harmonic in \(\Omega\), \(f_\beta\) are analytic in \(\mathbb{R}^{n'}\) with the support in \(K'\), \(*\) denotes the convolution product with respect to \(x'\) and \(N_0^{n'}\) the set of positive integers.
