It is proven by \textit{A. Ocneanu} [Lond. Math. Soc. Lect. Notes, Ser. 136, 119-172 (1988; Zbl 0696.46048)], for \(\text{II}_1\) hyperfinite factors, and generalized by \textit{M. Izumi} [Publ. Res. Inst. Math. Sci. 28, No. 5, 833-843 (1992; Zbl 0809.46071)], for arbitrary factors, that principal graph \(A_5\) characterizes subfactors of the form \({P}\rtimes{\mathbb{Z}}_2\subset{P}\rtimes{D}_3\) (\(D_k\) denotes the dihedral group of order \(2k\)). A similar characterization of irreducible subfactors with principal graph \(E^{(1)}_6\), which can be realized as \({P}\rtimes{\mathbb{Z}}_3\subset{P}\rtimes A_4\), was obtained by \textit{J. H. Hong} [Acta Appl. Math. 40, No. 3, 255-264 (1995; Zbl 0827.46051)]. In the present paper, the authors give an analogue of these results for arbitrary irreducible \(\text{II}_1\) subfactors with principal graph \(D_{2n+1}/{\mathbb{Z}}_2\) by a different approach from Ocneanu's and Izumi's.
