Let \(G\) be a compact Lie group with a maximal torus \(T\) \((\neq G)\) and let \(G\to G/T\to BT\) be the associated principal fibre bundle induced by \(Bi: BT\to BG\). In this paper the author proves that the forgetful homomorphism \(\pi_0 (\text{aut}_G (G/T))\to \pi_0 (\text{aut}(G/T))\) between the groups of (\(G\)-equivariant) self-equivalences is not monomorphic, by showing that the former group is uncountable but the latter is finite.
