Let \(E\) be a modular elliptic curve over \(\mathbb{Q}\) with \(L\)-function \(L(E,s)\). The author proves a formula expressing the value \(L(E,3)\) by the double Eisenstein-Kronecker series (theorem 1.1) (such a formula was conjectured by Deninger). For the proof one computes explicitly the regulator map on \(K_4(X)\) for an arbitrary curve \(X\) over a number field (theorem 2.1). In order to get the expression for \(L(E,3)\) one calculates the regulator integrals for curves (theorem 3.3) and uses Beilinson's theorem on regulators of modular curves (asserting that there exists an element \(\gamma\in K_4(E)\) whose regulator is \(L(E,3)\) up to a standard factor).
