This paper is a continuation of the paper ``A relaxation algorithm for solving a Cauchy problem'' of the same authors, applied to a general inverse problem from the electroencephalography. After a presentation of the inverse problem, a description of the algorithm is presented. An iterative boundary element method is used to solve the problem. The numerical results presented show that this algorithm provides a reasonably accurate numerical solution with a reduced number of iteration.
