Let \((M,g)\) be a Riemannian manifold with curvature tensor \(R\). It is said to be curvature homogeneous if and only if for each \(p\) and \(q\) of \(M\) there exists a linear isometry \(F:T_pM\to T_qM\) such that \(F^*R_q=R_p\). Any locally homogeneous manifold is curvature homogeneous but the converse statement does not hold. For a survey about this class of spaces, for examples and further references, we refer to Chapter 12 in the book ``Riemannian manifolds of conullity two'' by \textit{E. Boeckx}, \textit{O. Kowalski} and \textit{L. Vanhecke} [World Scientific, Singapore (1996; Zbl 0904.53006)]. The aim of the author is to find a procedure to construct new examples of curvature homogeneous manifolds starting from a given one. More specifically, he aims at constructing curvature homogeneous metrics on principal fiber bundles \(P\) over the given curvature homogeneous manifold \((M,g)\). In this paper, the case of one-dimensional fibers is treated and used to derive a system of sufficient conditions for curvature homogeneity. These are then used to construct an explicit example by starting from a particular curvature homogeneous space constructed by \textit{O. Kowalski}, \textit{F. Tricerri} and the reviewer in [J. Math. Soc. Japan 44, 461-484 (1992; Zbl 0762.53031)].
