On the Mann and Ishikawa iterative approximation of solutions to variational inclusions with accretive type mappings in Banach spaces (Q1818130)

The unique solutions to certain variational inclusions on a Banach space X are the unique fixed points of certain associated functions \(S:X\to X\). In such cases, the paper concerns the Ishikawa iterative process \(\{x_n\}\) defined by \(x_{n+1}=(1-\alpha_n)x_n+\alpha_nSy_n\), \(y_n=(1-\beta_n)x_n+\beta_nSx_n\). It is proved the iterative process converges to the fixed point of \(S\).
