Minimum time control for a minimum cost control problem in Banach space (Q1819355)

\textit{W. A. Porter} and \textit{J. P. Williams} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 13, 251-264 (1966; Zbl 0161.291)] have formulated the minimum effort control problems in an abstract Banach space and have solved the problem by functional analysis techniques. \textit{N. Minamide} and \textit{K. Nakamura} [ibid. 36, 73-85 (1971; Zbl 0216.174)] have considered the minimum cost control problem which includes as special cases the minimum effort problems. In this paper the author has tried to obtain the minimum time optimal control for the minimum cost control problem of Minamide and Nakamura by the application of functional analysis techniques.
