    For \(\phi\in L\), let \(L_{\phi}\) be the functional on \(H^ 1\) defined by \(L_{\phi}(f)=\int^{2\pi}_{0}f\phi (dt/2\pi)\) and let \(S_{\phi}=\{f\in H^ 1:\| f\|_ 1=1\), \(L_{\phi}(f)=\| L_{\phi}\| \}\). It is shown that if \(S_{\phi}\) is non-empty then 1) \(S_{\phi}=\{\frac{f_ 1\overline{H_{\bar z\phi}f}_ 1}{z\| H_{\bar z\phi}\|}:f_ 1\in unit\) sphere of \(\ker(\| H_{\bar z\phi}\|^ 2-H^*_{\bar z\phi}H_{\bar z\phi})\}.\) 2) If \(\text{dist}(\phi,H^{\infty}+C) <\text{dist}(\phi,H^{\infty})\) then the set \(E=\{f\in H^ 1_ 0:\| f\|_ 1=1\) and \(\int^{2\pi}_{0}\phi f(dt/2\pi)=dist(\phi,H^{\infty})\}\) is non- empty and it is compact in the \(L^ 1\)-norm. Also, a characterization of exposed points of ball of \(H^ 1\) is given.
