Iterations converging to distinct solutions of some nonlinear operator equations in Banach space (Q1819720)

We examine the solvability of multilinear equations of the form \(M_ kx^ k=y\), \(k=2,3,...\), where \(M_ k\) is a k-linear operator on a Banach space X and \(y\in X\) is fixed. Depending on whether \(y\in X\) is nonzero or not, we provide iterations converging to distinct solutions of the above equation.
