Hadamard matrices and doubly even self-dual error-correcting codes (Q1821759)

The paper is devoted to a construction of doubly-even self-dual codes from Hadamard designs. The construction is well known [cf., e.g., \textit{V. K. Bhargava} and \textit{J. M. Stein}, Inf. Control 28, 352-355 (1975; Zbl 0311.94005)], and the results are also known: most of the paper repeats results (some in a weaker form) from the reviewer's paper in Probl. Peredachi Inf. 19, No.4, 25-30 (1983; Zbl 0548.94027). The only statement which is not completely covered by a relevant result from the above mentioned paper is that designs arising from equivalent Hadamard matrices produce equivalent codes.
