The author uses methods due to \textit{U. Ott} [Geometries and groups, Proc. Colloq., Berlin 1981, Lect. Notes Math. 893, 68-110 (1981; Zbl 0476.05022)] to generalize a theorem of \textit{H.-P. Ko} and \textit{D. K. Ray- Chaudhuri} [J. Comb. Theory, Ser. A 30, 134-157 (1981; Zbl 0479.05014)] for multipliers of group divisible designs with regular not necessarily Abelian automorphism groups.
