The authors study the inverse scattering problem for the twodimensional Schrödinger operator \(L=-\partial_ z\partial_{\bar z}+A(z,z)\partial_{\bar z}+u(z,\bar z)\) (written in complex coordinates), where A corresponds to a magnetic field and u is the potential. Under suitable assumptions (of smoothness-type) and using complex methods (from the theory of the nonlocal Riemann problem, respectively \({\bar \partial}\)-methods) they show that the inverse problem can be solved. Conditions on the scattering data which imply that \(A\equiv 0\) and that \(u(z,\bar z)=\bar u(z,\bar z)\) are also given.
