This paper gives a stability condition for a compact domain on a minimal surface in \(S^ 3\). The main idea here is to study the associated immersion into \(S^ 5\) defined by \textit{B. H. Lawson jun.} [Ann. Math., II. Ser. 92, 335-374 (1970; Zbl 0205.520)]. A fine result in this direction was given by \textit{D. Hoffman} and \textit{R. Osserman} [Math. Ann. 260, 437-452 (1982; Zbl 0471.53037)].
