The authors derive series solutions of the initial value problem \(\ddot u+\alpha u^ 2=\omega^ 4/(4\alpha),\) \(u(0)=A+\omega^ 2/(2\alpha),\) \D{u}(0)\(=0\) which may be used to solve the anharmonic motion equation.
