The author considers the Dirichlet problem for quasilinear divergence form elliptic equations of second order in bounded domains. Under suitable growth conditions on the coefficients (such as non-power nonlinearity) using De Giorgi's techniques he proves boundedness of the generalized solutions of the problem. The paper extends previous results of De Giorgi, Nash, Moser, Ladyzhenskaya e.a.
