This paper shows that if \(\alpha\in {\mathfrak N}_{2n-k}\) is the bordism class of a manifold having an involution with fixed set of dimesion n, and \(\beta\in {\mathfrak N}_ n\) is the bordism class of a similar fixed set, then there is a manifold \(M^{2n-k}\) with involution T having fixed set \(F^ n\) for which the class of M is \(\alpha\) and that of \(F^ n\) is \(\beta\), provided 1) \(\alpha\) and \(\beta\) have equal Euler characteristic mod 2, and 2) \(1\leq k\leq 4\).
