Statements
Let \((X_ t\), \(P^ x)\) be a transient diffusion process on E which has a potential density u(x,y) such that \((x,y)\to u^{-1}(x,y)\) is finite, continuous and \(u(x,y)=\infty\) if and only if \(x=y\). In a previous paper [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 103, No.2, 607-611 (1988; Zbl 0653.60068)], the author proved that the excessive harmonic functions, which are not identically infinite, are continuous. In this paper, under the same assumptions, the author shows that the excessiveness of non-negative harmonic functions holds automatically.
