Sufficient conditions for the equivalence of the Auslander-Reiten translation quivers of two finite-dimensional algebras are worked out (dimensions of the corresponding modules under this equivalence coincide). The following problem is also studied: Given a simple module S over the algebra A, consider the ideal \(I_ S\) of morphisms f: \(M\to N\) in mod A such that S(M)\(\subseteq Ker f\) and Im \(f\subseteq S(N)\) (here S(M) denotes the trace of S in M); if \(S'\) is a simple module over another algebra \(A'\), then what does it mean that the quotient categories (mod A)/I\({}_ S\), (mod A\({}')/I_{S'}\), are equivalent? A wide class of algebras, over an algebraically closed field of prime characteristic, sharing their Auslander-Reiten quiver with their standard form is exhibited. The representation-finite algebras are included in the considered class of algebras.
