pi-blocks of pi-separable groups. II (Q1825270)

The first paper in the series [J. Algebra 102, 60-77 (1986; Zbl 0595.20014)] was of an introductory nature, where the \(\pi\)-blocks of \(\pi\)-separable groups were defined. This paper contains a large number of results on such \(\pi\)-blocks. Defect groups are defined and \(\pi\)- versions of well-known p-block results relating to defect groups are exhibited. Then block induction is defined and analogues of the 3 main theorems on blocks are proved. The author remarks that the version of the second main theorem has also been obtained by G. Robinson.
