    Let \(R^ n_ a\) be the set \(\{x\in R^ n;\quad x_ i\geq a_ i,\quad i=1,...,n\}\) for an \(a\in R^ n.\) By \(C_+(R^ n)\) we denote the set of functions \(\{f\in C(R^ n);\quad \sup p\quad f\subset R^ n_ a\quad for\quad some\quad a\in R^ n\}\) and by \(M(R^ n)\) the quotient field of \(C_+(R^ n)\). A Mikusiński operator \(w\in M(R^ n)\) is called regular if there exists a delta sequence \(\{p_ m\}\), \(p_ m\in C_+(R^ n),\) \(m\in N\) and a sequence \(\{q_ m\}\) belonging to \(C_+(R^ n)\) such that \(w=p_ 1/q_ 1=...=p_ m/q_ m=....\) It is well-known that a delta sequence can be constructed in the following way: One takes a continuous function f with compact support in \(R^ n\) and with \(\int_{R^ n}f(x)dx=1.\) Then, \(p'_ m(x)=m^ nf(mx).\) Such a delta sequence is called a model delta sequence. Surely, there are delta sequences which are not model delta sequences. The author of this paper proves: ``For every regular operator w there exists a model delta sequence \(\{p'_ m\}\) and a sequence \(\{q_ n\}\) belonging to \(C_+(R^ n)\) such that \(w=p'_ 1/q_ 1=...=p'_ m/q_ m=....''\) This result makes possible to give the definition of a regular Mikusiński operator using only model delta sequences instead of delta sequences.
