Uniform asymptotic stability of a class of integro-differential systems (Q1825403)

Sufficient conditions are obtained for uniform asymptotic stability of trivial solution of a class of Volterra integro-differential systems. These conditions give a larger region of uniform asymptotic stability than those of \textit{F. Brauer} [J. Differ. Equations 28, 180-188 (1978; Zbl 0385.34023)] and \textit{G. S. Jordan} [ibid. 31, 359-365 (1979; Zbl 0386.45010)]. The usefulness of the present result has been illustrated by an example concerning a predator-prey model where the predator population is harvested at a constant time rate.
