The problem of the coupling of vector multiplets (describing the matter) to N\(=2\) supergravity is considered. The author classifies all (normal) homogeneous Kähler spaces M which are target manifolds of vector multiplets allowed in \(N=2\) supergravity. He proves that such manifolds M are in one-to-one correspondence with the homogeneous quaternionic Kähler manifolds (other than quaternionic hyperbolic space) which were classified by the reviewer. At first these homogeneous Kähler manifolds M were arising as some totally geodesic submanifolds \(M=M(V)\) associated with the quaternionic manifolds V. The author describes the manifolds M(V) as some bounded Siegel domain of the first type using the formalism of T-algebras of Vinberg. The correspondence between quaternionic manifolds V and the associated Kähler manifolds M(V) is interpreted as the c-map of string theory that is the operation which transforms one effective Lagrangian into the other. There are two infinite families of homogeneous non-symmetric quaternionic manifolds V, each labelled by two integers. The Kähler metric g of the associated Kähler manifold M(V) is not an Einstein one and is different from the Bergman metric of the Siegel domain M(V). The Kähler potential of the metric g and the associated Lagrangian F which inserts into the general \(N=2\) supergravity Lagrangian are calculated explicitly.
