    Let \(V\) be a finite-dimensional real vector space with an inner product \(\langle\cdot,\cdot\rangle\), and let \(G\) be a subgroup of \(O(V)\). Given \(x,y\in V\), one says that \(y\) is \(G\)-majorized by \(x\) (\(y\preceq_G x\)) if \(y\in\text{co}\{gx:g\in G\}\). A linear map \(L:V\rightarrow V\) is \(G\)-doubly stochastic if \(Lx\preceq_G x\) for every \(x\in V\). In some cases there exists a nonempty closed cone \(D\subset V\) such that for each \(x\in V\), \(y,z\in D\), \(g\in G\) one has that \(Gx\cap D\neq\emptyset\) and \[ \langle y,gz\rangle\leq\langle y,z\rangle.\tag{1} \] When that situation occurs, the triple \((V,G,D)\) is called an {Eaton triple}. The author studies cases of equality in inequality \((1)\) for Eaton triples.
