This paper deals with the oscillatory behavior of solutions of first-order delay differential equations with oscillating coefficients and piecewise constant arguments. Examples are included to illustrate the importance of the results. Also see \textit{J. H. Shen} and \textit{I. P. Stavroulakis} [J. Math. Anal.
