Note on the derivatives of the eleminant of two binary cubics. (Q1829348)

\(R\) sei die Resultante der beiden Gleichungen \[ ax^3 + bx^2 +cx + d = 0, \;px^3 + qx^2 + rx + s = 0. \] Verf. gibt einen direkten Beweis dafür, daß die zweireihigen Unterdeterminanten der Matrix \[ \begin{pmatrix} \;& \;& \;& \\ \dfrac {\partial R}{\partial a} & \dfrac {\partial R}{\partial b} & \dfrac {\partial R}{\partial c} & \dfrac {\partial R}{\partial d} \\ \\ \dfrac {\partial R}{\partial p} & \dfrac {\partial R}{\partial q} & \dfrac {\partial R}{\partial r} & \dfrac {\partial R}{\partial s} \end{pmatrix} \] sämtlich \(R\) als Faktor enthalten, und zieht einige Folgerungen aus dem Beweis.
