The authors consider the inversion problem for a controlled dynamical system, which is defined as follows: For the dynamical system \[ \dot z= Az+ b\xi,\quad w= cz, \] where \(z(t)\in \mathbb{R}^n\), \(\xi(t)\), \(w(t)\in \mathbb{R}\), \(A\), \(b\), \(c\) are appropriately dimensioned matrices with constant elements, use the output observations \(w(t)\) to estimate the unknown input signal \(\xi(t)\). An efficient robust inversion algorithm is proposed to obtain an asymptotic estimate of \(\xi(t)\). The stability of the proposed algorithm in the presence of various uncertain factors and observation errors is also investigated.
