    Let \(G\) be the group consisting of elements \(x= \{x_ k\}^ \infty_{k= 1}\), where \(0\leq x_ k< p_ k\) and \(\{p_ k\}^ \infty_{k= 0}\) is a sequence of integers with \(p_ k\geq 2\) for \(k\geq 1\), \(p_ 0= 1\) and \(m_ s= \prod^ s_{k= 0} p_ k\). The group operation \(\dot+\) is defined as follows \(\{x_ k\}^ \infty_{k= 1}\dot+ \{y_ k\}^ \infty_{k= 1}= \{(x_ k+ y_ k)\mod p_ k\}\}^ \infty_{k= 1}\). The functions of the multiplicative system are defined by \[ \varphi_ n(x)= \prod^ N_{k= 0} (\psi_ k(x))^{a_ k},\;n= \sum^ N_{k= 0} a_ k m_ k,\quad 0\leq a_ k< p_{k+ 1}, \] \[ \varphi_ 0(x)\equiv 1,\;x\in G,\;\psi_ k(x)= \exp\Biggl(2\pi i {x_{k+ 1}\over p_{k+ 1}}\Biggr). \] The author gives a test of Jordan type of convergence in Pringsheim's sense of double Fourier series \[ f(x, y)\sim \sum^ \infty_{i= 0} \sum^ \infty_{j= 0} a_{ij}(f) \varphi_ i(x) \varphi_ j(y) \] on \(G^ 2= G\times G\), where \[ a_{ij}(f)= \int_{G^ 2} f(s, t) \overline\varphi_ i(s) \overline\varphi_ j(t) ds dt. \] {}.
