The author's objective is to show that certain multiple series are expressible in terms of the infinite product \(\prod_{n\in J} (1-q^n)^{-1}\), where the index set \(J\) is \(\mathbb{N}\) minus values congruent with, e.g., \(0,3,12\) modulo 15. The general term of the series contains \(q\)-Pochhammer symbols. The paper may be seen as a continuation of a previous article [Indian J. Pure Appl. Math 31, No. 8, 1059-1079 (2000; Zbl 0982.33008)]; and again, one encounters lack of detail as well as a number of misprints and other typographical shortcomings. The reviewer did retrace some of the steps but he could not possibly be certain about the correctness of the whole paper.
