A note on the wave packet transforms (Q1848102)

The author gives conditions of the form \(\int_{\mathbb{R}^n} x^\alpha\phi(x) dx\neq 0\), for some \(\alpha\in(\mathbb{N}\cup\{0\})^n\), on a tempered distribution \(\phi\in{\mathcal S}(\mathbb{R}^n)\) so that the Sato-Hörmander wave front set, \(WF(u)\), of a compactly supported tempered distribution \(u\) defined in an open subset \(\Omega\in\mathbb{R}^n\) can be characterized by the Folland wave packet transform \({\mathcal P}_\phi^\lambda(x,\xi)\). The distribution \(\phi\) is not required to be even. Moreover, the \(H^s\) wave front set is discussed in terms of the wave packet transform.
