The authors study the parametrized Seiberg-Witten theory on fiber bundles with symplectic 4-manifolds as fibers and closed oriented manifolds as bases. For the ordinary Seiberg-Witten invariants, if \(b^{+}=1\) they depend on chambers. For the family Seiberg-Witten invariants, they depend on chambers as long as \(b^{+}-1 \) is \(\leq\) the dimension of the base space. They show that the family Seiberg-Witten invariants are diffeomorphic invariants and derive the wall crossing formula in the case \(b^{+}-1=\) the dimension of the base and the Fulton-MacPherson family.
