In this paper, somewhat difficult to read due namely to the exposition of the subject, the author provides some strongly continuous representations of infinite-dimensional groups such as diffeomorphisms and loop groups of real manifolds and also diffeomorphisms and loop groups of non-Archimedean manifolds over local fields. The main tool is to construct Poisson measures \(P_{m}\) on configuration spaces of infinite dimensional topological groups by means of quasi-invariant measures \(m\). Irreducibility and equivalence of the representations are also analyzed. The techniques used permit to prove that there exist Abelian non-locally compact Banach-Lie groups \(G\) with quasi-invariant measures \(\mu\) on \(G\) relative to dense subgroups \(G'\) such that the associated regular unitary representations \(T^{\mu}\) of \(G'\) are irreducible, each one-parameter subgroup \(S\) of \(G\) is compact and the projection of \(\mu\) on each one-parameter subgroup \(S\) is equivalent to the Haar measure on \(S\).
