Let \(S\) denote the class of normalized univalent functions in the unit disk \(D\). For \(f\in S\) and \(\lambda< 0\) let \(a_n(\lambda, f)\) be the Taylor coefficient of \((f(z)/z)^\lambda\) and let \(k(z)= z(1- z)^{-2}\). Theorem. For any \(f\in S\) and \(1\leq n\leq -\lambda+1\) \((\lambda< 0)\) the sharp estimate \[ |a_n(\lambda, f)|\leq|a_n(\lambda, k)|= \left|\begin{pmatrix} -2\lambda\\ n\end{pmatrix}\right|\tag{1} \] holds. Inequality (1) holds for \(\lambda\geq 1\) and for all \(n\), as it was proved by \textit{W. K. Hayman} and \textit{J. A. Hummel} [Complex Variables, Theory Appl. 7, 51-70 (1986; Zbl 0553.30012)]. Besides, it is proved a necessary condition under which the Koebe function \(k(z)\) maximizes the functional \(\sum^n_{k=1} \sigma_k|a_k(\lambda, f)|^2\) \((f\in S)\) for given weights \(\sigma_k\in\mathbb{R}\). The proofs are based on the Loewner differential equation.
