Let \(H^\omega\) be a set of continuous functions \(f(t)\) on \([0,1]\) for which \[ \omega(\delta,f) = \sup\limits_{_{\substack{ 0\leq h\leq \delta\\ 0\leq x\leq 1-h}}} |f(x+h)-f(x)|\quad\text{as}\quad \delta\to 0. \] A function \(f\: [0,1]\to\mathbb{R}\) is called a function with bounded \(\Lambda\)-variation \((f\in \Lambda \text{BV})\), if \[ \sup\limits_{G} \sum\limits_{k=1}^N \frac{|f(b_k) - f(a_k)|}{\lambda_k} < \infty. \] In the paper sufficient conditions are obtained for the embedding \(H^\omega\subset \Lambda\)BV. The relationship between the embedding \(H^\omega\subset \Lambda \text{BV}\) and the convergence of some series is studied.
