Dynamics and control of initialized fractional-order systems (Q1852752)

The authors present a general fractional-order system and control theory, which includes the time-varying initialization response. The initialization response and the forced response for fractional-order systems are determined, as is the scalar fractional-order impulse response as a generalization of the exponential function. Stability and time response are discussed with respect to the pole position in the \(w\)-transformed complex plane. Frequency response, state variables and feedback are discussed as well. In the last part of the paper, control methods for a vector representation of the initialized fractional order systems and a generalization to continuous order-distributions are presented.
