The author proves a sharp \(L_{\infty }\) estimate and a Harnack's type inequality for the weak solution of porous media type equation with strong absorption. As a consequence there are obtained existence results on initial traces, fundamental solution and nonexistence results of a very singular solution. Moser iteration technique is used.
