Following their analysis of hyperbolic eigenvalue problems [Linear Algebra Appl. 309, 57-72 (2000; Zbl 0957.15016)], the authors derive relative perturbation bounds for the hyperbolic singular value problem for a pair \((G,J)\), where the matrix \(G\) has either full row rank or full column rank (the two cases being treated separately) and \(J\) is a diagonal matrix with diagonal elements \(\pm 1\).
