An object-based graphical user interface for time series analysis (Q1855634)

The authors propose a graphical user interface in which data, statistics and statistical models are expressed as icons on the screen. From this design all the preceding steps in statistical analysis is easily seen. Operating can proceed by selecting items of pop-up menus which appear when user specifies icons. Menus is situation-sensitive, i.e. states of items vary depending on past operations, and are useful to indicate the appropriate procedures for the specified data.
