A sufficient condition is given for a \(C^{m-n+1}\)-mapping from \(\mathbb R^m\) to \(\mathbb R^n\) with a zero point to have a second zero. The existence of a path, parametrized by the arclength, linking both zeros is proved. The existence condition still holds for continuous mappings when \(m=n\).
