For vector valued functions in the unit ball \(B\) of \(\mathbb{R}^n\), \(n\geq 3\), the Hardy space \(H^p\), \(p> 0\), is defined as for \(n= 2\) where instead of circles \((n-1)\)-spheres are used. The author improves a result of \textit{D. Jerison} and \textit{A. Weitsman}, Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 83, 304-306 (1981; Zbl 0471.30008)] and shows that a \(K\)-quasiconformal mapping of \(B\) into \(\mathbb{R}^n\) belongs to \(H^p\) with \(p< (n-1)(2k)^{-1/(n-1)}\); the sharpness of the upper bound is not known except for \(n= 2\). The proof employs an integrability theorem due to \textit{P. Koskela} [Rev. Mat. Iberoam. 10, 123-141 (1994; Zbl 0795.30020)].
