The authors give a classification of finite simple Lie conformal superalgebras, mainly by the following steps: First they extend the classical Cartan-Guillemin theorem to the Lie superalgebra case. Then they show that the annihilation algebra \({\mathcal A} (R)\) associated with a Lie conformal superalgebra \(R\) is an irreducible central extension of \(\mathbb C[[t_1,\dots,t_r]]\widehat{\otimes}{s}\), where \({s}\) is a simple linear compact Lie superalgebra. Then they observe that the growth of \({\mathcal A}(R)\) is \(\leq1\). This observation produces a list of all possible annihilation algebras. Then they classify all even surjective continuous derivations of these candidates for the annihilation algebras. Finally, the algebra \(R\) is reconstructed from the corresponding extended annihilation algebra. This proves the classification.
