This short paper deals with the following problem. A sampled system (SS) composed of a zero-order hold, a continuous time (CT) system, with a rational transfer function \(G(s)\) in the open loop, and a sampler is under investigation. It is assumed that the transfer function \(G(s)\) has a pair of imaginary zeros. It was previously shown that the SS has a zero corresponding to that of \(G(s)\). Also, an inequality was previously obtained which provides the conditions under which the zero of the SS, this zero is called an intrinsic one, is located or not inside the unit circle for the case when \(T\) (the sampling period) is sufficiently small. The aforementioned inequality is formulated in terms of an expression containing \(G(s)\) restricted to the imaginary axis. Here, the inequality is modified in a condition imposed on the Nyquist of \(G(s)\). Finally, an example is given.
