A CR orbifold \(B\) is locally the quotient of an open CR manifold by the action of a finite group of CR diffeomorphisms. For such an object, the authors construct a vector bundle \(T_{1,0}(B)\) in the sense of \textit{J. Girbau} and \textit{M. Nicolau} [Collect. Math. 30, 247-265 (1979; Zbl 0463.58022); ibid. 30, 63-95 (1979; Zbl 0463.58023)]. Note that the fiber of \(T_{1,0}(B)\) is a quotient \(\mathbb C^n/G_x\) (and hence is not a vector space) at singular points \(p=\phi(x)\) of \(B\), where \(B\) is uniformized by \((\Omega,G,\phi)\). The complement \(B\setminus\Sigma\) in \(B\) of the singular set \(\Sigma\) is a CR manifold, and the restriction of \(T_{1,0}(B)\) to \(B\setminus\Sigma\) is the usual vector bundle of complex tangent vectors of type \((1,0)\). This is used for the study of the tangential Cauchy-Riemann equations on \(B\). As an application, they construct a two-sided parametrix of the Kohn-Rossi Laplacian \({\square}_b\) on the domain \(\Omega\) of a uniformizing system \((\Omega,G,\phi)\), inverting \({\square}_b\) over the \(G\)-invariant \((0,q)\)-forms up to smoothing operators of type 1 in the sense of \textit{G. B. Folland} and \textit{E. Stein} [Commun. Pure Appl. Math. 27, 429-522 (1974; Zbl 0293.35012)].
